Establish a Heat Treatment protocol
Users must validate and implement a heat-treatment process and the procedure used with B3 dosimeters post-irradiation.
The heat treatment process is specific to the user’s specific irradiation modality (E-beam, X-ray, Gamma) and irradiation process, the type of heat treatment incubator used, and the type of B3 dosimeter (format, in the factory packaging, out of the factory packaging).

The user should validate the minimum dwell time.

The user should validate the temperature set-point to achieve B3 film response stability.

The user must ensure the temperature effectively stabilizes the B3 film response without damage to the film due to overheating.
You must validate the incubator temperature and dwell time as part of your heat treatment process to ensure the successful heat treatment of B3 film!
