The temperature of our dosimeter product (during shipping or in the pre-irradiation storage location) dropped below 15°C. Are the dosimeters damaged? What should I do? |
The dosimeters are not damaged by temperature drops below normal storage conditions. Put the dosimeters in room temperature (see Storage Pre-irradiation Storage) and allow the dosimeters to acclimate before irradiation. Acclimation is necessary to restore the humidity levels in the pouches to normal. While we do not have specific information about your working conditions, we recommend an acclimation period of at least 24 hours. |

The temperature of our dosimeter product (during shipping or in the pre-irradiation storage location) went above 45°C. Are the dosimeters damaged? What should I do? |
The dosimeter response may be impacted by temperatures at or above ≥45°C, but you should test to ensure the product is not impacted by the heat excursion prior to usage.
